2,215 feathers. Every one hand-hammered by Dave.
The color is not paint. It is corrosion, brought out with a patina formula Dave developed himself, so each feather takes the color its own way.

Shell plates, claws, and jointed legs, each cut, formed, and welded in the shop. Finished to catch the light from every angle.

Not every piece is large. A deer skull with a full rack, a stainless high heel with an oversized ring, and a metal skeleton show the same attention to form at a smaller scale.
